This week was a mix of forward momentum and tough calls. Several features shipped across the portfolio, and one brand got the sunset treatment.
Feedback Feature on Builders
Builders now has a built-in feedback mechanism. Users can surface ideas, report issues, and flag what matters most to them — directly inside the platform. The goal is to shorten the loop between the people using the product and the decisions shaping its roadmap. Early signal beats late assumptions every time.
Reddit Promo Posts Goes Premium
The Reddit Promo Posts tool is now live as part of the premium tier. It helps creators and founders draft promotion-ready posts tailored for Reddit's format and culture — something that's surprisingly hard to get right. Packaging it into the paid tier felt like the right move: it's a high-value workflow that justifies the upgrade.
Ad Token Patch
Caught and patched a bug in the ad token flow. Tokens weren't being validated correctly under certain edge cases, which could have led to misattributed impressions. Small fix, but the kind of thing that erodes trust if left unchecked.
Blocklist Beta on XSpaces
XSpaces now has a blocklist feature in beta. It gives hosts more control over who can participate in their spaces — a basic but important moderation primitive. This is the first step toward a more robust trust and safety layer for the platform.
Sunsetting Over21.to
I made the call to shut down Over21.to. It was an interesting experiment, but ultimately it wasn't a strong enough portfolio component to justify continued investment. Not every idea earns its place, and part of building well is knowing when to let go. The resources freed up here go straight back into the products that are showing real traction.
